Somnath is one of the twelve Aadi Jyotirlingas shrines dedicated to Shiva. The temple of Somnath has been destroyed many times by Muslim rulers and each time it has been re-build and hence know as – the shrine eternal. The temple is located in such a way that there is no landmass from here till South Pole.
Dwarkedheesh temple also known as Jagat Mandir is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Dwarkadheesh means King od Dwarka, Lork Krishna. Hindu mythology believes that the temple was build at the site of Krishna’s residential palace by Vajranabha, who was Krishna’s grandson. Dwarka is mentioned in epic of Mahabharat as Kingdom of Krishna and is located on banks of river Gomti.
Rajkot is well connected by train and from all major cities in India. It ia slo connected by air from Mumbai.
